TimeFlow

Current version: Alpha

Description: TimeFlow is a visual tool for reporters looking to organize and analyze historical data on long-term stories. Developed by visualization experts Fernanda Viégas and Martin Wattenberg at Flowing Media, TimeFlow makes it easier for reporters to tell in-depth narratives by tracking trends and making sense of temporal data. It’s been used to help reporters on stories ranging from ProPublica’s narrative of the tragic aftermath of a roadside bomb in Iraq to a Barron’s story of corruption in Russia.
